Darwin Convention Centre has had the pleasure of collaborating with Gabbert Design on several occasions, most recently for the full refurbishment of the Waterfront Rooms on level 2 at the Centre.

The brief was to reimagine these rooms and create a new meeting space that reflects a world-class design concept, worthy of confirming the Convention Centre as a winning destination choice for the meeting, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry.

I have known and been involved with Wayne and Sandra Gabbert at Gabbert Design for over three decades through my previous business Nortruss Builder Supplies and my current consulting work on behalf of the Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation as their Commercial Development Manager in Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem land.
