To lead the design and construction of a new international motocross track at the Hidden Valley precinct in Darwin, delivering a premier facility for the 2025 MXGP—the first Australian event in over 25 years.
This project involved collaborating with multiple parties to design an accessible track that meets FIM international and Australian standards, enhances spectator experience, and integrates seamlessly with the existing Hidden Valley infrastructure.
The design prioritises safety and efficient flow to accommodate both riders and attendees, all while adhering to budget constraints and the environmental context of Darwin’s unique terrain.
Designed a state-of-the-art motocross track tailored for the 2025 MXGP, emphasizing versatility to support other motor sport events and future adaptations.
Ensured seamless connectivity between the new track and existing facilities at the Hidden Valley precinct, including access roads and spectator areas.
Incorporated viewing platforms and designated areas to enhance spectator experience and visibility across the track
The project was carefully planned and delivered within the set budget, balancing high-quality construction with cost-effective solutions.
