To design a functional and community centered Civic Centre serving the broader Darwin area for the next 30 to 50 years. With a focus on revitalising the facility as a community hub, preserving the Tree of Knowledge, and providing connectivity and integration to the new Darwin City deals future development plan.
Engagement process with multiple stakeholders.
Gabbert Design was the nucleus of the project.
Design to meet council budget expectations.
The centre was designed to be connected to peripheral works being constructed as part of the broader Darwin City Deals plan.
A community focussed concept that allows the facility to be truly accessed and utilised by community groups.
