LOCATION
CHARLES DARWIN BUILDING, DARWIN CBD
YEAR
2021
SCOPE
To design the Anindilyakwa Land Council's Darwin office within the esteemed Charles Darwin Building, highlighting breathtaking views and integrating art from the Groote Archipeligo. Notably, the project includes a unique boardroom table crafted by Manapan and representative spears adorning the ceiling, symbolizing the 14 clans.
KEY ASPECTS
The design was to pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of the Groote Archipelago however it was important that the design presented a fusion of contemporary and cultural design elements to provide a stunning corporate environment that the ALC would be proud of.
The office is located on the 16th floor of the Charles Darwin Centre which has stunning panoramic views of Darwin Harbour, our design used this as the basis of creating workspaces that were connected to this external landscape.
