BEETALOO ENERGY SECURES LAND FOR HUGE $40BN AI DATA CENTRE NEAR DARWIN

The Northern Territory could become the “data centre capital of the globe” after the government handed a company exclusive rights to build a $40bn AI mega-campus near Darwin.

It’s expected the project would create up to 5000 construction jobs and as many as 350 long-term operational jobs, with the company focused on leveraging the Darwin and Palmerston workforce pool rather than relying on the FIFO model.
